Pattern Drafting for Fashion is a comprehensive, detailed workshop session to help students become proficient as University professors or professionals. Learn the fundamentals of pattern drafting to move on more advanced designs.
Some characteristics of the course:

  • A General Rule draws attention to each principle when it is introduced. Students, professors and professionals will refresh their learning of the principles.
  • The Learning Process in Pattern Drafting for Fashion is a plan developed by our teachers during years of teaching. It is a specific system for mastering pattern drafting.

A unique Parisian Learning Process that works!

The Learning Process was developed for classes where students constructed garments to wear after each new Basic Pattern was completed. As an educator who wants an excellent basics for every class the Pattern Drafting for Fashion workshop is a pragmatic answer.

The material was student-tested thoroughly for years in Paris and with top professional applications worldwide. It includes basics referring to:

Basic bodice for women
Draft a pattern for a basic sleeve
Alter a basic sleeve into a sleeve for dropped shoulder
Alter a basic sleeve into a sleeve with gatherings
Alter a basic sleeve into a raglan sleeve
Draft patterns for a basic corset and two corset tops
Draft patterns for women’s pants
