On 15th and 16th of June 2012 happened the first Fashion Federation pattern-drafting workshop. At the Fraser Suite Le Claridge Champs-Elysées, Izet Curi, a famous pattern-drafter has transmitted his knowledge to a group of 5 people.
This event happend into the “Colette Room”, the place where the famous writer lived, from 1931 to 1936
For the first time since several decades in Paris, a haute-couture expert transmitted his knowledge through a workshop opened to non-professionals, as Coco Chanel did in the 50′s.
Parisian fashion history, draping on dummies, and a course followed by a couple of practical exercises to know how convert a draw in a concrete garment.
Attendees received a lot of advice about how launch his own collection or how manage his career.
François Lavergne and Didier Castelnau, both administrators of Fashion Federation, enjoyed the great success of this first workshop, as Izet Curi who “is pleased to have transmitted his knowledge“
This is 5 totally happy girls who received their diploma from Izet Curi’s hands.
The last day, everybody visited St-Germain district and its plenty of Fashion shops. Finishing this 2-day workshop by a drink at the Emporio Armani Caffe and a tour in Izet ‘s studio.
